So we challenged Rachael to pick four favorite makeup products and tell us why.  Its important to know that she never misses a new product launch, swatches everything and is up on all the latest.  But when she chose four favorites, she went with the tried and true.

1. Foundation:  MUFE Ultra HD Stick

Why she loves it:  Blendable, buttery, and medium to full coverage, this creamy stick foundation is long wearing and feels like a flawless second skin.  Suitable for all skin types when properly prepped and set, and available in a wide shade range, this would be great kit choice for a pro.

2. Holy Grail All Around Product:  MACs Fix Plus

“A lightweight mist of water packed with vitamins and minerals, infused with a blend of green tea, chamomile and cucumber to gently soothe and refresh the skin. Gives an instant boost of hydration while delivering a soft sheen to refresh and finish makeup.” You really can use this baby in so many ways.  Spritz onto dry skin before makeup  application for an instant boost of hydration or to set or refresh a finished look.

Rachael’s pro tip: Spray foundation brushes or beauty blenders, then use as you would to apply your foundation to create a long wearing, flawless finish.  Intensify shimmery eyeshadows by spraying on your short shader brush for long-lasting extreme pigment.  (Meaghan has been known to add loose shimmery pigments to a bottle to create the ultimate in “glow sprays” for her editorial work-so gorg).  

MAC had limited edition scents periodically, but has just added them all to the permanent range.  You can enjoy the original formula, or try Rose, Lavender, and Coconut. Thank you MAC!

3. Eyeliner: Tartiest Clay Paint Liner

The liner she cannot live without!  Pigmented, glides along without skipping, waterproof, 12-hour wear.  This formula gives you a bit of playtime to smoke out (if you work quickly) and also dries down into rich, crisp, seamless perfection.  The super genius part about this product, aside from the formula, is the packaging.  Tarte knocked this one out of the park to bring us the first ever, squeezable tube.  (How many pots of gel liner have you tossed out because it dried into dust before you finished it?  Yeah.  Us too.  The tube also features a blending well-which is GENIUS.  It allows you to work enough product onto your brush without using pallet, or the back of your hand.  Great for pro kits and personal makeup bags alike.  Amen, Tarte, Amen!

4. Lippie: Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss

Apply alone or use to layer your favorite lip product, this vanilla mint scented lusciousness uses hyaluronic filling spheres to invigorate and plump without stickiness or intense burn.  Its available in three nude, sheer shades to suit any skin tone.  Super high-gloss shine, and cushiony feel.  Whats not to love?

After initial use, lips appear more supple, and after 15 days of continuous wear, lips will be noticeably fuller and look more defined.  The cooling sensation is subtle and refreshing.  Fleurt Approved.
